KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) – West Virginia State Police say a man who took off from the scene of a deadly motorcycle crash has been found.

Troopers say Larry Ray Blaine Jr., of Alderson, West Virginia was located at a Go Mart in Chelyan Tuesday morning. Employees called 911 and he was taken to a hospital.

There’s no word on the extent of his injuries.

The crash happened around 2 a.m. Tuesday just south of the Chelyan exit on I-77.

Troopers say Chelsea Atha, 31, of Columbus, Ohio died in the crash.

Troopers tell WSAZ.com ‘charges will be forthcoming.’
